Maxx Manic comes to the iPhone.
It's taken a while, but we've finally released Maxx Manic on iPhones and iPads. We've also moved the Android version to the Unity framework to be able to run on more phones. We've taken a lot of care to make sure that the game plays the same as before, and plays the same on both platforms. You can find it in iTunes, or follow the link in the games menu above.

A new recruit.
We're pleased to be joined by Kev Smith. A long time friend of ours is now working on the 3D models for our next game. See the About Us page above for his biography. Richard has also updated the pictures on there to account for the last couple of years of receding hairlines.

A programmers day off.
What would the Ceirog Studios programmer be doing when not programming Ceirog games?
How about a relaxing evening measuring the speed of light with a Raspberry Pi computer.

Maxx Manic PLaying Tips.
Colin demonstrates how it's done.

UPDATE: We've had a few people say that he's playing some kind of "Tweaked" version that's easier than normal. This is not the case, that's the version from the Google Play Store, not modified in any way. No tweaked version exists, though I have been tempted.

4th September 2015

The about us page has now got some text on it.
If you want to know roughly who we are and why we're doing this, click the About Us tab at the top of this page.

The scoreboard for hard mode is empty, so get in there quick, before Colin does.

24th June 2015

Achievements and Hard mode are now in beta test. It's early days yet and it's all looking a bit rough and ready so far, but most of the remaining work is just cosmetic.
There are 20 achievements, 5 of which are hidden, only to be revealed when triggered.
Hard mode is unlocked when you get past ten waves in the normal mode game. By that time you'll have faced an extremem level and know what you're letting yourself in for. We're having a new leaderboard for Hard Mode as mixing normal and hard scores wouldn't be fair.

25th May 2015

We've been mentioned in MrSheltonTV's blog. It's well worth checking out his YouTube channel too, though probably not recommended for younger viewers. He's into all things indie, especially games and horror films, and has appeared in a few himself. Check his blog for news and reviews of music, games and films.

21st May 2015

Leaderboards in Maxx Manic are now live. The game should automatically update for all current users. Just tap the joypad icon on the start or game over screen to see how you compare to the rest of the world. You'll be told that Maxx Manic wants to see your Google+ circles, but this is just so Google can show you a personalized scoreboard as well as the global one.
